Outreach to the immediate neighborhood and to Oakland as a whole is extremely important at St. Paul's. These are some of the community organizations that we support:
The Thursday Food Co-Op provides fresh produce at wholesale prices to the neighborhood. It is open to all on Thursdays at 10 am.
St. Paul's hosts several twelve-step recovery program meetings: Overeaters Anonymous daily at 7 a.m., Alcoholics Anonymous on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and Narcotics Anonymous on Saturdays at 7 p.m.
St. Paul's Episcopal School, founded in 1966, is an independent, Episcopal private school with a public purpose" dedicated to providing the finest morally sound and socially conscious education to Oakland's diverse population. Clausen House is an Episcopal-sponsored, residential treatment center for developmentally disabled adults. For more information, call 510-839-0050.
