April - May 2012 Adult Education Series. Robert Knapp, author of the critically acclaimed book "Invisible Romans", will lead a journey through the religious and secular world of first century Christianity as we learn about how Polytheistic, Jewish, and Christian cultures interacted to form the matrix of our early faith's experiences during adult forums April 22 and 29 and May 6 after the 10 a.m. The first Sunday is “Compare and Contrast: Polytheism, Judaism, and Christianity.” After an introduction to the overall series, we will see how the outlook of these religious approaches formed the basis for first century developments and conflicts in and about Christianity. Below you will find the handouts for this Sunday, in case you would like to get some inkling of what is to come.
